Using Google Docs

If you prefer to work in Google Docs, you will need to save and download your files to turn them in on Canvas. 

1. Name the file something that makes sense, like WW1 or Weekly Writing 1.

2. Go to File > Download and select Microsoft Word (.docx).

3. The file will save to wherever downloads automatically save on your computer (typically, your Downloads folder).

4. Go to the assignment in Canvas and upload the file.
